Raghad Qasem

Raghad Qasem's training and her admission position her on mandates where an international client's expectations of drafting precision and turnaround meet the realities of Jordanian statute and court practice. Within the firm, she serves as a primary point of contact for international clients at the deal-execution stage on transactions that require close coordination between Jordanian counsel and foreign transaction counsel.

Her practice covers corporate and commercial law, contract drafting and negotiation, investment and banking law, financial regulation, debt recovery, fraud and theft cases, and alternative dispute resolution. She works on matters ranging from shareholder and joint-venture documentation to regulatory filings, finance agreements, and the recovery of commercial debts. On disputes that can be resolved without full litigation, she handles the firm's alternative dispute-resolution work, including mediation and structured settlement.

She is admitted to the Jordanian Bar Association and practises under Jordanian Bar Association Law No. 11 of 1972.

On the corporate side, Raghad drafts and negotiates shareholder and joint-venture documentation, regulatory filings, and finance agreements. On the regulatory side, she advises on banking law and financial regulation as they apply to her clients' Jordanian operations. On the contentious side, she handles debt-recovery matters and conducts the firm's alternative dispute-resolution work, including mediation and structured settlement on disputes that can be resolved without full litigation.

The firm deploys her on matters where the written product, in both contract and regulatory submission, must read as strongly in English as it does in the client's home jurisdiction.
